I'm Larry from New Hudson, MI. I've been a Michigander my entire life. I traveled through both of Michigan's beautiful peninsulas. I've also traveled to Canada a little, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, California, The Bahamas, Grand Caymen and The Baja in Mexico. I've done a little hunting in my life and some fishing. I've snowed skiid both down hill and cross country.

Although I'm recently widowed (January 2023) after over thirty-one years of marriage, I was also divorced in the past after over seventeen years of marriage so I understand both sides now.

I have a blended family of five kids all successfully out on their own and seven grand children so far. I thank God regularly for them. God has done some amazing things in my life and I'm ready for the next episode that He has planned for me. Having had a lot of pets in my life, I am now pet free.

I'm fully vaccinated. I don't smoke. I drink alcohol occasionally.

I like most genres of music except for rap and Metallica with classic rock and country being my favorites. My favorite two country songs are “Oh Lord It's Hard To Be Humble” and “Achy Breaky Fart”. The melody of the second one is the same as “Achy Breaky Heart” and they even line dance to it. I watch news shows, game shows, Ancient Aliens, shows about ancient civilizations, sci-fi, musicals like Greese & Jesus Christ Superstar, The Voice & The View. I never watch the Fox Channel. My favorite two books are The Holy Bible and The Urantia Book.

Like my dad said, I believe that honesty is the best policy. Politically, I'm an American Independent. Personality wise, I'm classified as an ambivert. I believe that we are suffering from severe climate change. My beliefs are so strong about that I now drive an electric car and really enjoy it.

I believe that this whole world needs to calm down. Even though I'm a hunting gun owner & was a junior member of the NRA when I was a kid, I believe that all assault rifles ought to be illegal & only the military and the police should be able to carry them. We have to properly do things so that we can all be safe. I believe that our form of government is the best one in the world so far. The oligarchies don't work as well & stifle creativity and productivity.

I worked in accounting, banking and retail. I retired just before the pandemic started and gradually became a care giver for my now deceased wife as she needed my care giving.

I believe that men & women are equal but just different. God made us to be each other's help mates. Well that's the short version about me. We'll have to chat more to learn the long versions of each other.

I seek a woman with both an attractive mind & appearance to get into a long term relationship with & see where it goes. There definitely has to be mutual chemistry there. I believe that you get the most out of a relationship when you put the most into it & saw that happen in my most recent marriage. I guess that is some of the wisdom that you get with age. Right now I just have to have the patience of Jobe.

Since I believe that age is more than just a number and that distance doesn't make the heart fonder, if you aren't at least sixty years old and don't live within seventy-five miles of me, please don't waste my time. All of my kids are in their forties and one is in her very late forties. Also there is FBI connection in my family. If you are too immature, my family wouldn't get along with you. The distance part is because I want to go out on actual dates so that we can mutually experience things. I've included this because lately I've been contacted by women that were way too young for me and that live way to far from me.
